Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs commemorates Veterans Day by hosting, participating, or attending a myriad of events honoring veterans and their families

BATON ROUGE, La. The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) has a saying: “To us, every day is Veterans Day, and every day is Memorial Day.”

The LDVA mission is clear as they provide comprehensive care and quality service to Louisiana’s Veterans, and their families, with regard to health care, education, disability benefits, long-term care, and burial honors.

“I’m proud of this Department and all that they do for Louisiana’s Veterans,” said LDVA Secretary Joey Strickland. “As we get closer to celebrating Veterans Day, we hope to see many of you at these events happening across the state.”

This year, the LDVA will be hosting, or its team members will be participating or supporting, the following events:
