BATON ROUGE – Tomorrow, Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Joey Strickland and Louisiana Senator Regina Barrow will join veterans from across the state to honor the contributions of our women veterans and to recognize them during the Louisiana Women Veterans Day Ceremony happening at 10 a.m. at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol.

Parking is available in the parking garage at the corner of Third and Convention Streets, along the streets surrounding the Old State Capitol, or in nearby surface lots. Surface lots are located at the corner of Third Street and Florida Boulevard and at the corner of Lafayette Street and Florida Boulevard.

Women veterans will be required to have military identification in order to register for the pinning ceremony. This event is free and open to the public.
