The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) is proud to sponsor the Diversity Works Job Fairs in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport during the month of October, which is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
The LWC encourages employers to register to participate in these events by contacting the Chairs and Co-Chairs listed on the fliers attached. There is no cost to participate.
The events will be held at the following locations from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for Veterans only and from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the general public.

The job fairs are coordinated by the LWC’s Office of Workforce Development programs, the Ticket to Work program, the veterans program, and Louisiana Rehabilitation Services.
National Disability Employment Awareness Month is led by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy to educate the public about disability employment issues and to celebrate the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities.
