How to Access Free Parking for Disabled Veterans at Louisiana Airports:

The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs has received numerous phone calls regarding the implementation of  Act 213. We have tracked the different requirements of each airport and compiled that data here: Airport Parking Packet

We are happy to announce that, as of today, all Louisiana airports have implemented plans to honor free parking for disabled veterans.

This afternoon, the New Orleans website’s Parking Information posted the following: “The Airport has received FAA concurrence on its Disabled Veteran Parking Plan. In order to receive the free parking benefit, the Airport will require certain forms to be completed in advance of exiting the Airport’s parking facilities.”

The forms are still not available, but will be put online this week, according to the website. You can find more details here: FlyMSY
