ANNOUNCEMENT – CHANGE OF VENUE: LDVA Veterans Day Ceremony

BATON ROUGE Today, the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) announces a change in venue for their LDVA Veterans Day Ceremony happening at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11.

This event was initially scheduled to be held at the Louisiana Veterans Memorial Park, located at: 900 State Capitol Drive in Baton Rouge. Due to the inclement weather, the event venue has been changed to the American Legion Nicholson Post #38, located at: 151 South Wooddale Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The venue change was prompted by the forecast of inclement weather coming to the greater Baton Rouge area later this afternoon and into next week. The new venue ensures the safety of all attendees, volunteers, and for those traveling to Baton Rouge to help honor our Louisiana Veterans and their families.

The LDVA invites all veterans, military families, friends, comrades, veteran service organizations, and community members from across the region to join us for the LDVA Veterans Day Ceremony which is now being held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the American Legion Nicholson Post #38.
