Providing veterans a unique place to call home

The Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs operates five veterans homes across the state. Each veterans home provides a unique, comforting environment where veterans are able to live alongside their brothers and sisters in arms while receiving comprehensive care and support.

Eligibility

Louisiana veterans who are honorably discharged, during wartime or peacetime, and served 90 days of active duty, spouses of veterans and Gold Star parents are eligible to live in a veterans home.
