VA Commission

The Louisiana Veterans Affairs Commission is a gubernatorial appointed board consisting of nine honorably discharged veterans and citizens of Louisiana that advise the Governor and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs of issues affecting the veterans of Louisiana and provide input on the overall operations of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs.  The board members are nominated by various veterans’ organizations in the state and serve six year terms.
